A cardboard postcard with two pieces of embroidered muslin attached to the top
and bottom of cardboard border. Colourful images of the French flag, United Kingdom Union Jack and flowers sewn onto muslin. The rectangular card has statement "A Happy Christmas" on the front, and a faint hand-written message on the back. "Dear Dorrie I am sending you this card with a little souvenir to wish you a merry xmas. Received your letter of 29/9/1919 and by accounts you must have had a nice holiday. I should have very much liked to have been there. Much love from Bro Harry. XXXX"
