Silver coloured cast metal scissor sharpener with raised inscriptions:
Obverse – Scott’s Wonderful Scissors Sharpener Cwth Patent Applied for
Reverse – Sharpens any scissors

Scott's Wonderful Scissors Sharpeners were patented about 1919 by E H Scott of Lismore, NSW. A company was formed in August 1920 to manufacture and market the sharpeners. The company went into voluntary liquidation in October 1946. The sharpeners were advertised for one shilling and nine pence in 1944.
