Illawarra Historical Society and Museum help

The Illawarra Museum was founded on 5 December 1966 and is housed in the former Post and Telegraph Office (1865-1892). The collection reflects the social history of the Wollongong Region since 1816. There are in excess of 50,00 items in the collection including farm equipment, furniture, household implements, photographs and documents.

ENTRY IS FREE Donations are appreciated and may be tax deductible. Group visits may attract a fee of $3.00 per person.
