Actually the whole idea of raw food and fasting is not so outlandish. We do know that Jesus fasted for 40 days, so it would make sense that he talked about it. As for the raw food bit, it’s highly likely that this information could have been withheld due to the confusion it creates for all of Christianity. This text is very controversial in the Christian world for many reasons, but mainly because it offers the idea of 2 Gods: a Heavenly Father and an Earthy Mother. That’s a major monkey wrench to contend with when you supposedly only have a “one man” (or a “father and son”) business. As you read through the text, you will see that the teachings offers raw milk “not heated higher than the sun” as an acceptable food for Man. That means technically, if you follow this Gospel, you would not have to be a vegan or vegetarian, and you would be permitted to drink raw milk. It’s an interesting observation.Object number
