An original cardboard box for campaign medals sent to J. C. Newton Esq. 56 Bushwood Road, Kew, Surrey. Note on box indicates "Sent 1949". Ephemera included in box includes four wax paper envelopes. A small rectangular sheet indicating the medals enclosed (1939/45 Star, France Germany Star, Defence Medal, War Medal) and a small slip with J. C. Newton's name. A larger pamphlet with descriptions of the different awards is enclosed.
