The museum now holds memorabilia from the old wooden wall sailing ships and the shore establishment including Honours board, figurehead, medals and personal Ganges related belongings.
The Museum is also home to a very large collection of photographs and original documents relating to life at the Royal Navy Training Establishment at Shotley Gate, which are of value to both casual visitors and researchers alike. In addition a small number of documents relating to the original HMS Ganges when afloat are now available to view in the Museum.
