A “Lett’s No 35 Australasian Rough Diary or Scribbling Journal with a week at each opening of two pages, price one shilling” for 1881with handwritten entries by John Constable, the boatman for the Moruya Pilot Station. He filled each day to the full, ending each day with a description of the weather.
This diary is the first of a series kept by James Constable. Most are kept in the State Library of NSW.
