Family bible with pictorial engraved title page by W.B. Scott; full page engraved plates. Contemporary full brown morocco, spine with five raised bands, with lines of floral gilt stamping, gilt lettered, covers ruled with floral gilt design, yellow coated endpapers, gauffered gilt edge.

The Old Testament has frontis, engraved title page, engraved family register, six colour maps and 29 black and white plates each with tissue guard.
The New Testament has frontis, engraved title page, three colour maps and 28 black and white plates each with tissue guard, collated complete.

With engravings by H. Robinson, W. B. Scott, W. Hughes, William Holl, E. Radclyffe, R. Scott, Henry Cook, H. Adlard, W. Forrest, J. H. Le Keux, W. Miller, P. Lightfoot, R. Young, T. W. Knight, and S. Bradshaw, among others.
