The house “ The Cedars” was painted by Leonie Bell in 1965. The house had been her home in 1939 – 1940. The painting was gifted to the museum in 2015.

Framed and glassed watercolour painting. Cream 2.5 cm mount. Painting is of a small cottage with hip-pitched roof. A large cedar frames the right side of the painting while pepper trees frame the left.
