OMSAA Historical Artefacts help

The Alumnus Association curates a marvellous collection of old Medical instruments housed in the Otago Medical School and display cases are placed throughout the Dunedin Public Hospital and show a variety of Surgical instrument's, Medical equipment along with Historic Memorabilia and Military displays.

The Association is incorporated and has a Set of Rules established in 1975 and amended in 1991.
Broadly, the objectives of the Association are:
To stimulate interest in the Historical and Cultural background and the progress of the Otago Medical School and the Faculty of Medicine in the University of Otago and by so doing to assist in the advancement of Medical Education in New Zealand and to collect and maintain archival material including records, Artefacts and memorabilia for housing in an Historical Museum with intent to support the Otago Medical School and the Faculty of Medicine in its role to advance Medical knowledge.
