Operated by the Canowindra Historical Society & Museum Inc., the Canowindra Historical Museum depicts the development of Canowindra from establishment as an 1840s frontier settlement, following the growth of the town and its surrounding districts as a centre for a rich agricultural production, and recording its transformation into the vibrant rural community popular with visitors as seen today.
