About this object

Field service postcard addressed to Dorothy Gibosn of Beauty Point, Tasmania from J[ohn] Renison Bell, then serving with the 12th Battalion, AIF.
The card, printed in black ink and completed in pencil, consists of a basic selection of comments which can be deleted depending on the soldier's circumstances. Written messages on these cards were not permitted.
Postmark stamps an Australian Field PO and a censor's stamp are on the front.
