About this object

This photogrpah shows two pieces of equipment from a fire station. The item on the left would have been in the watchroom and would have been used to operate doors, lights, bells etc. The item on the right was to show the fire crew which fire appliance was needed. A light would come to indicate which fire engine(s) were to repsond to the 999 call.
