Black and white photocopied image of early locomotive, open style with wooden platform at rear, three men standing here, one in dark suit with tall top hat, two others in light suits, one with tall top hat. Inscription on back by Southland Museum reads:- "Lady Barkly loco built by Hunt & Opie 1860? Ballarat. photo in Hunt & Opie yard." Engine seems to have two darkened plaques on it, "Lady Barkly" & "Hunt & Opie Victoria Ironworkers Ballarat."
