Oscar the Ostrich was Mickey Mouse's pet created in the 1936 comic story. Oscar was published for the first time in the "Oscar the Ostrich" comic story, however, he also appears in " Oscar and Friday's Comic Clock" comic story.

This is a fretsaw cut ostrich plywood toy made in c 1930s. Height 9,5 cm.

The saddle in this toy refers to the 1936 comic story when Mickey Mouse was riding his pet "Oscar the Ostrich". Oscar was also wearing a green hat in "Oscar and Friday's Comic Clock" comic story.
