About this object

A crowd of people in a field, standing in a row at a wire or rope barrier; ladies in hats, some men wearing buttonholes ' at the far end of the row, on the nearside of the barrier, a gentleman wearing a cap is proffering one of his two baskets towards the crowd. In the bottom right hand corner of the card is written "No 10".

On the reverse of the postcard is stamped in black ink, in small cursive letters 'E.J. Saunders, Photographer & Fancy Goods Dealer, Winkleigh' (as shown in image DC11Z.AA24Z which may be viewed in 'Dancing Bear', another record in this collection) plus a pencilled note '1905?'
