Combe Martin's parish church, St Peter Ad Vincula's, dates back to the 15th century and is one of the largest in the Exmoor area. Its painted screen dating from 1500 features pictures of saints. The church also features a green man and a particularly fine font.
John Blackmore, the grandfather of novellist RD Blackmore was incumbent from 1833 to 1842.
