About this object

Light green short evening dress. Dress has full lined bodice and skirt has a loose green silk underskirt, dress has a dropped waist with green georgette tie, the dress has 6 diamond shaped inserts of cream lace with the pattern outlined in metallic thread. Five panels of 'floating' green georgette emphasises panels from dropped waist, machine stitched.
dress has damage under the arm on both sides - poor attempt to patch with hand stitched areas.
Dress has bound high round neckline, eight rows of stitching at shoulders.
