Imitation tortoiseshell folding fan of celluloid, the leaf composed of marquetry of dyed feathers. The addition of the tips of peacock feather adds a touch of glamour; matching imitation tortoiseshell loop.
With its own satin-lined cardboard J. DUVELLEROY LTD. box, covered in an all-over Japonisant paper with fans and figures in blue and pinks. The box is stamped inside the lid: J. DUVELLEROY LTD, LONDON, 167 REGENT STREET W. and Manufactured in Paris.
