Folding fan advertising Chemins de Fer de l'Etat.
Monture: Wooden sticks and guards
Mount: Double paper leaf printed in monochrome on both sides.
Obverse: Three photographic views printed in mauve - left to right: La Rochelle, Royan and Sables d'Olonne. The images are linked with sprigs of blossom in a Japanese manner, various inscriptions and train timetables.
Reverse: Printed in orange with an assortment of advertisements, including: 'Cycles Le Globe', 'Pouges (mineral water) and 'Phares de la Bastille, Paris' (a shop trading in sportswear and bathing costumes).
