A black-and-white photograph of seven young women posing with a wooden shed behind them. In the back row, three are wearing housemaids, or waitress-type, uniforms. One is dressed like a cook. One is in normal clothing.

Sitting in front of them are two other young wome, of which Martha MacLean (it is belived) sits on the right.
