The View (Epping Forest Collection) help

The Epping Forest collection relates to Epping Forest, the 6000 acres of ancient Forest, protected and managed by the City of London Corporation. The collection, formally The View (Epping Forest Collection) was accredited as a museum in October 2016.

Our collection includes natural history specimens, archaeological finds, ephemera, images and documents relating to the history of the Forest and its management.

Objects are displayed on a permanent basis at The View, our registered site, with other items on display at The Queen Elizabeth's Hunting Lodge and The Temple, Wanstead Park. We aim to make our items in store available on ehive.
