Photograph; 5 of 47 from the McConnell Album. This photograph taken in 1925 shows the north end of Mataura Freezing Works and was taken from the west bank of the Mataura River. The Freezing Work's weir runs parallel to the River.
The Album was commissioned by Charles McConnell, the then mayor of the Mataura Borough Council. It is now in the Gore Historical Society's collection and is held at the Gore Museum.
