About this object

Small white porcelain mug with colour transfer picture on one side featuring four children at play including bubbles, toy horse, ring and stick, and watering can. Gold around the rim and handle has mostly worn away.

The mug was used by Joan Bones, nee Hayward [1921- ?], daughter of Harris Guy and Jean (nee Gilmore) Hayward. It was possibly a birthday or Christmas gift.
