About this object
Folding wooden and decorative brass bookrest with three small wooden feet. The bookrest is adjustable and folds flat. The front is hinged to the base and a hinged arm is attached to the back. There is a narrow ledge along the front.
Originally used by Police Magistrate Frank Burford Treatt [?1846-1923] and later used in Cobar by Harold P R Treatt [1873-1912].
