About this object

Metal trench periscope with polished wooden handle. The shaft has been painted dark khaki green, although much of the paint has now worn away. There is a lens near the end of the shaft and another in the adjustable eyepiece at the side. This is a Mark 8 periscope made by R & J Beck Ltd., Serial number 3743.
