About this object

White glazed earthenware jug with painted blue decorative chain border design at inner and outer rim, around centre and line border at base. The jug has a curved rim and pouring lip and small pedestal base. The handle has a reed shaped design.

Used as a water jug at the old Port Macquarie Court House.
