Four framed needlepoint pictures of historic Port Macquarie buildings; St Thomas' Church, Port Macquarie Museum, Historic Courthouse and Roto House. St Thomas' Church picture shows church building, pine trees, lamp, garden and cross monument. Port Macquarie Museum picture features museum building (22 Clarence Street) with woman holding a parasol and child with a ball on the footpath at front and trees. Historic courthouse picture shows courthouse building, pine trees, lamps, pathway and picket fence. Roto House picture features the house building, lawn and gum trees with a koala sitting in it.
The pictures were hand worked by Port Macquarie resident Gwendoline Audrey Bullivant, known as Gwen, in 1996. Gwen was a keen needleworker until her eye sight failed due to macular degeneration. According to her family, Gwen mastered all forms of needlework and crafts including sewing, knitting, tapestry and crochet.
