About this object

A hardwood timber surveyor’s blaze overgrowth producing a reversed impression of the original blaze with markings of '402'. Believed to be created by a Department of Main Roads (DMR) surveyor. Lower part has char marks on it, indicating a fire has burnt the tree the blaze was made on.
