1903 Diary Account of cruise on the SS ZazaAbout this object
MS book "A Short account of a cruise on the S.S. "Zaza" - R.N.Y.C", in the handwriting of R.H.Beaumont (1865-1952). July 1903. The cruise started in Western Scottish waters. The yacht belonged to William Beardmore (the industrialist and magnate, later Lord Invernairn). Mrs Beardmore and her sister Nell Tullis’ were aboard. There are photographs (loose) in the book, and a piece of the ship's headed paper. The boat went to Orkney and then over to Norway before returning via Skye to the Clyde.
