Items in the window:. Include a wooden weathervane (man on a donkey) copied from the one on the village shop by Joseph Prater. The vane on the shop was made about 1870 by J. Beasley for the farmer at Abbey Manor who liked to look out and observe the wind when he was getting up in the morning. A "Housen" fitted with three bells (tuned three blind mice). This Housen was worn by the leading horse in a cart (fixed to the Hawes) to warn of its approach who liked to look out and observe the wind when he was getting up in the morning.
