About this object

A collection of nine wooden patterns used in a foundry to cast machine parts. Ring and band shaped wooden patterns. Some washer style with wide band to a smaller hole in the centre. Part 2 is painted grey. Part 3 has a raised collar on the inner ring. Part 6 has a notch cut out from either side.

There is evidence that Crown Lynn used F. & W. Fowler Ltd founders, but it is not known if the company made the wooden patterns. Could have been made in house at Crown Lynn.
