About this object

Copy print of the Sprague & Sexton garage on King Street, Timaru (opposite the Terminus Hotel), circa 1935-1936. Depicts both a motorcar and an aircraft lined up for refuelling.

According to the donor of another copy of the image, aircraft used to taxi up Shaw Street from the airfield to refuel from aviation pumps. He also believed the motorcar belonged to George Catlow.
