About this object

When he retired in July 2013, Chris Martin was New Zealand's 3rd highest Test wicket-taker, behind only Sir Richard Hadlee and Daniel Vettori.

These boots were worn by Chris in his last international season. Each boot has space for 11 metal sprigs in the sole, but some of these are missing or 'blown out' as Chris himself described them.
