Woman's skirt with bustle, circa 1860s. Embossed velvet in dark teal blue, over tiered pleated taffeta in iridescent grey/bronze. Part of a two-piece suit.

Jacket -
Womans fitted jacket. Embossed velved in dark teal blue and faded taffita in iridescent grey/bronze with covered metal bottons. Part of a two piece suit with matching skirt.

Embossed velvet and taffeta. Lined with unknown material. Interior pocket. Two mismatched buttons. Hook and eye fastening to side seam. Bustle in taffeta. Fabric coathanger loops were a later addition.
