Tea set made with coiled bundles of brown pine needles woven together with yellow straw, worked in a basketry technique and decorated with orange berries & green leaves.

This tea-set was made by the donor's paternal grandmother's mother.The set was made for, and displayed at, the New Zealand Centennial Exhibition in Wellington in 1939 - 40, most likely as part of the Country Women's Institute display.
