About this object

Fossils; a collection of 12, small fossils, dating to between 12,000 and 14,000 years old. Found by the late Mrs George Wright on a Glenomaru property, now owned by the Goatley family.

On display in the Catlins Gallery, Owaka Museum.

George WRIGHT is my Great (?) uncle, these fossils were found on the farm my Grandfather James WRIGHT owned,where my father was born. I have met Mr Goatley and had a tour of the old homestead before it was removed/demolished.
