Cream separator; a Junior Number 4 model cream separator, manufactured in the United States of America by The De Laval Separator Co, New York. This was used to separate the cream from fresh milk.

This model was made for use on a bench and is operated via a wooden handle to one side. Milk was poured into the supply can at top and released into the mechanism. Cream and milk poured out of separate outlets, one above the other.
