Kerosene heater; a 'Raydyot' brand kerosene heater, manufactured in England. The small heater consists of a metal container at the base, which would be filled with kerosene. Above this is a cylindrical component with wire mesh inserts from which heat would radiate.
One one side of the kerosene container is a blue and red transfer which reads: 'RADYOT HEATER / Safe as a miner's lamp'.
