Photograph; a black and white photograph depicting a group of 39 men, taken at the Grand Lodge Sessions of the Independent Order of Oddfellows, New Zealand in March of 1925. The men are dressed in Oddfellows regalia and are posed seated and standing, outdoors. The Independent Order of Oddfellows was set up to provide workers and their families with financial and other assistance at a time when there was no government welfare. The first New Zealand I.O.O.F. Lodge was formed in Dunedin on the 18th of August, 1862.Place Made
