Uniform shorts

About this object

Khaki uniform shorts worn by donor during WW2 in the RNZAF. Cotton drill, three pockets in total, two big ones at sides, one box pleat pocket at right hip with button close. Wide waistband with three belt loops which are fastened with a button (one missing and sewn on). Front opening which is closed by four buttons and two metal buckles on waistband. All buttons are metal and read underneath, ' WRIGHT EDGWARE MDX. Written on inside, 'EDW B+ 1121' label, 'BA.479'.
