About this object

Khaki uniform shorts worn by donor during WW2 in the RNZAF. Cotton drill, five pockets in total, two big ones at sides, one hidden pocket at right hip and two at back, left is bigger and has button close. Wide waistband with four belt loops which are fastened with a button. Front opening which is closed by five buttons and two buckles on waistband. All buttons are metal. Many stamps inside back pocket, ' AS 33 21' inside front pocket right 'MN' '16B 29', left ' A 5 4 W MC', inside waistband '24 WE 1944 Ponie?'
