White cotton, with small bib front and long straps which cross over at back and hook on to buttons on waist band by small piece of tape sewn on back of strap, rick-rack sewn around bib. From trousseau of Annie Trewin, donor's mother, who married Alan Thomson Ariell of 'Thorne', Ariell's Hill, Paparoa, 1 July, 1915.
