Margery was part if the British Red Cross and worked with the Volunteer Auxiliary Detachment then the W.A.A.C.S. during the war. 2. 12/921 Tpr. Samuel Joseph Johnson serving with the Auckland Mounted Rifles in Egypt, WW1. Third from left on back row.
