Create objects

Once you have set up your account, you can add information about your objects like descriptions and images. You can record a range of information about your objects.

The fields available allow you to record general details about the object as well as more complex information relating to acquisition, conservation or administration.

You can choose how much detail to record and how much information will be available to eHive users.

Consistent, relevant data

You can maintain your own data ‘pick lists’ to keep your data consistent and relevant to your collection.

Public Access

It’s easy to see which fields can be made available to the public.  If you choose to make your records publicly available, the fields in the Public Fields tab of the Create screen are published.

You can choose to keep your objects private, or share with other users.
