About this object
Small, metal cup with a long, vertical standing handle with arched end. The cylinder body of the dipper had a shallow lip for pouring.

Milk dippers were used by milk vendors, dairy factories or milk inspectors to test the quality of the milk. The tester may have also been used by testers who were measuring the butter-fat content in milk.
