This cap belonged to Mr Geoffrey Arnold Bowden who was a resident of Te Awamutu from the age of 9yrs. Mr Bowden played rugby for Te Awamutu and Waipa in the position of halfback, and was captain for many years. He also represented Waikato in rugby on several occasions.
