Sports and Vintage Aviation Society
The Sports and Vintage Aviation Society museum is a living museum with aircraft restoration and flying of aircraft the main aims. The public can fly in our aircraft by becoming a member of the society for an annual subscription of $50.00. We also house aviation memrobilia, books, etc and have a growing static display of models, engines and instruments. We cater for tour groups as well as individuals.
We currently have 4 airworthy aircraft, with 2 more under restoration as well as 4 other privately owned airworthy vintage aircrtaft on line. All our memorobilia is aviation orientated plus an emphasis on the history of aviation in the Wairarapa in particular as well as New Zealand .
