Milk can; a ten gallon milk can with separate lid and two short handles at the sides. A maker's plate is attached to one side and is embossed: "A Harvey & Sons Ltd, Auckland". Also attached is a metal tag embossed: "The Co-Op Dairy Co of Otago Ltd, Dunedin, J M Cooper, Owaka".
This kind of can was filled with fresh milk at dairies, for delivery by rail and road.
