Photograph; a black and white photograph depicting nursing[?] staff of Owaka Hospital, 1957. The ten women are depicted seated on a step outside. Several names are handwritten on the back: Stuart, Bradfield, Richardson, Elizabeth Eason, Smith, J Cubitt[?], Murray.
From 1924 the Owaka Hospital passed through several stages from being a general hospital, to accepting maternity cases only, and lastly to an Old People's Home.
